The advertised monthly price is not the real TRT cost.
Compare setup, membership, medication, supplies, labs, visits, and hidden annual costs across two care models. Then judge diagnostic rigor and care quality—not price alone.
Five-year difference
$2,164
Clinic A costs more under these assumptions. Cost is only one dimension. Compare clinician access, diagnostic rigor, monitoring, pharmacy, cancellation terms, and what is actually included.
The defaults are editable examples, not market averages or medical recommendations. Insurance, geography, formulation, dose, pharmacy, testing frequency, and clinical needs can materially change cost. Do not choose or change treatment based on price alone.
What the calculator intentionally does not score
Low cost does not establish an accurate diagnosis, safe prescribing, appropriate follow-up, or better outcomes. Current Endocrine Society guidance emphasizes symptoms plus consistently low, accurately measured testosterone and evaluation of the cause before treatment.
Product route also matters. Current U.S. labels differ: commonly dispensed testosterone-cypionate products are labeled for intramuscular use, while some branded testosterone-enanthate products use a subcutaneous autoinjector. Follow the exact prescription and product instructions rather than generic internet technique.
